Essential Oils For Gut Health
Essential oils can also be used for several purposes other than massage. They heal the gut and restore the balance of microbes.
Poor gut health has become a major problem mainly due to the food we are eating these days. Also, our sleep patterns are not so healthy too.
Exposure to pollutants and stress have made things uglier for the gut. Of course, if you try to get rid of any gut problem using drugs, the problem may turn worse.

But essential oils may help as they are not destructive on the gut bacteria. But of course, it is better to consult a doctor before you try out any essential oil internally or externally. Here are some facts.

If you want to use an essential oil for topical application, ensure that you use a carrier oil along with it. For example, you need to mix a teaspoon of coconut oil for every 6 drops of any essential oil you use for external purposes.

When it comes to internal application, it is better to use them in capsule form. And ensure that you maintain enough gap between two doses. Also, never try them unless a doctor prescribes you.

Essential oils can help in controlling the bad bacteria without affecting the good bacteria. Drugs can destroy both good and bad bacteria. Lavender oil can be a good option.
