According to a research study by the American Psychological Association, it was found that adults who do not increase in regular sexual activity, tend to have more belly fat, due to certain hormonal imbalances.

4. PCOS
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a disorder in which cysts are formed in the ovaries and cause hormonal imbalance. Belly fat is also one of the side-effect of PCOS, although not common in everyone.

5. Low-Fibre Diet
If you consume a diet which is low in fibre content, you may tend to retain belly fat, as fibre can scrape out the fat cells in your tummy lining and flush it out of your system.
