Inflammation becomes dangerous as well as fatal when it becomes chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation, as the name suggests, signifies inflammation that lasts for weeks, months, as well as years and happens when the first stimulation which led to severe inflammation continues, as the body interprets the stimulation as unresolved.
This type of inflammation can be threatening in nature, quietly damaging your tissues without the normal redness, heat, swelling or pain that will normally be seen with severe inflammation. New blood vessel development is another typical characteristic of chronic inflammation, which plays a role in many disease processes, like cancer.
Chronic inflammation may be controlled by eating healthy. Eating complex sugars, whole grains, fruits, nuts, seeds, veggies and healthful sources of protein might help balance levels of blood sugar while increasing satiety and decreasing inflammatory processes within the body.

One should also keep one's weight under control if suffering from chronic inflammation. Excess weight stored in fat cells, by itself, causes irritation and inflammatory processes to happen within the body.
Following a regular exercise regime is essential to fight inflammation in the body. Exercise increases blood circulation in the body and supplies oxygen to all the cells in the body. This helps to heal inflammation.
Hence, in order to fight chronic inflammation, one should eat healthy, control one's weight and exercise on a daily basis.
