7 Things Your Hair Says About Your Health, Check it!
The look and quality of your hair can signify the health issues you might be suffering from. Read on to know about these.
We all want beautiful, lustrous hair. But sometimes we land up with just the opposite. Here we shall discuss certain health issues that cause such a problem.

It is normal to lose eighty to hundred strands of hair every day. However, if you start losing hair more than this quantity, you should give it a thought. It could be due to some illness, depression or pregnancy. Get yourself checked to see if you are suffering from any disease and learn ways to lead a stress-free life.

If you have hair that is dry and brittle and thinning vigorously, you should check the food that you are eating on a day to day basis. If you have been on more processed foods rather than foods that are nutritious like whole grains, fruits and vegetables and protein, you will end up ruining your hair. Hence pay attention to the food that you are eating right away.

If you have weak hair that lacks any lustre, it signifies that you are not eating enough fat. Good healthy fat is essential for our body to function well. If you do not eat enough fat, you will end up with not only weak hair but dull skin as well. Try to include healthy fats like omega-3 fatty acids and monounsaturated fats in your diet which you can get from olive oil, avocados, fish oil, etc.

If you have hair loss on the crown of your head and have ended up with a hairy face and upper lips and arms, it signifies that you have high levels of testosterone. It could also be that you are suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome.

If you have dry and dull hair and you are also suffering from fatigue, night sweats and hot flushes, you could be suffering from dehydration. Lack of enough intake of water could lead to these issues. So make sure to drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated.
