Here is a list of common mistakes that most of us make while drinking tea. Take a look.
1. Drinking Tea On An Empty Stomach:
Drinking tea on an empty stomach increases the acidity level in the body. This leads to an increase in the free radicals that are cancer causing and leads to fast ageing. One needs to drink water as soon as we wake up. Only after half an hour one could drink tea.
2. Drinking Over Boiled Tea:
What most of us do is drink tea that is over boiled and strong and this is a major mistake that most of us make. This causes stomach acidity. The correct way to drink tea is to first boil water properly, only then add tea just before taking it off the oven.
3. Adding Herbs In Tea:
We add herbs like tulsi in the tea assuming that it is good for one's health. But this is yet another mistake we make. The caffeine content in the tea prevents absorption of the health benefits of these herbs.
4. Drinking Tea Immediately After Food:
What we normally do is drink tea immediately after food. This is wrong. This helps prevent the absorption of nutrients in the food that we have just consumed. One should drink tea only half an hour after the meal. This helps in digestion.
