Does Smoking Cause Fatigue?
Smoking has been found to cause fatigue. Read on to know what happens in your body when you smoke and how it causes fatigue.
Smoking is not good for the health, but for a number of reasons, many individuals are addicted to it. It is due to the nicotine that is present in tobacco sticks. The medical world has confirmed that nicotine is harmful to the lungs and can cause cancer of the lungs.
Cancer of the lungs is not the only risk involved with smoking. This bad vice may also cause fatigue to many individuals.

How does smoking cause fatigue? When a person smokes, the quantity of oxygen in the lungs and in the blood stream becomes less. The oxygen is replaced by smoke which comes from the cigarettes. Oxygen is very essential for the body because all essential components of the body need oxygen to run.
Decrease in oxygen may lead to fatigue since the body parts cannot operate at their best. When the arteries, veins and capillaries are weak, it becomes far more strenuous for the blood to circulate throughout the body. Interrupted flow of blood might lead to fatigue since the body organs cannot get the nutrients they need for specific procedures.

Heart problems or reduction in heart rate is another effectof smoke in the body. When the heart does not work well, less blood is pumped around the body. Consequently, pumping will need more energy and there will be fewer nutrients to circulate in the bloodstream.
The best way to beat fatigue due to smoking is to cease lighting your cigarettes and cease consuming nicotine. It might not be easy, particularly if you are a chain smoker, but it will be worth it. You may also attempt the electrical cigarettes which are becoming popular in the marketplace today.
While you are in the process of quitting your bad vice, you may also change your diet plan to relieve the fatigue brought about by tobacco. Rather than only eating meat, add more vegetables and fruits to your diet. It is best if you consume them fresh since fresh food is more tasty and more nutritious. Exercise regularly to increase your stamina.
