Kids go through varied levels of stress. Ignoring it can only lead to troubles. How will you know if your kid is going through stress or not? Look for child stress symptoms or signs! Find out why is he/she is being troubled with a headache or a stomach ache constantly? Find out why does he/she get tired easily? Look for social withdrawal or general withdrawal signs.
Some kids also undergo emotional outbursts or aggression which is actually a child stress symptom. If you have been observing these child traumatic stress symptoms for quite some time, you need to figure out a way to handle it. There are various child stress symptoms that may help you understand whether your child is suffering from stress or not. These symptoms should be noticed at the early stages so that you can help them cope with it. Here are some child stress symptoms:

Increased Negativity
Is your child obsessed with negative thoughts that include death or probably some kind of thoughts that is going to harm them? You would see that a lot of kids suffer from such negative thoughts as if someone is going to harm them or their loved ones will go away from them. In case your child is showing such negative thoughts, you need to find out the reason for it. It is possible that your child is suffering from stress.
Aggressive Mannerisms
Aggression is dangerous especially if a child is showcasing it. Aggression could be silent or violent. You may find that your child tends to break things just to make you angry or someone else angry. This kind of behaviour pacifies them. They are also aggressive in the way they behave with you. Aggression has kind of possessed them overall. This is a child traumatic stress symptom, which needs to be looked into immediately.
Inflexibility
Your child used to agree to do things and was quite flexible till date. But, suddenly the easy going child of yours seems to be showing signs of inflexibility. He/she is becoming rigid in thoughts and speech. You can see that they show adamant behaviour more often now than ever. If this is increasing, and has been observed as a sudden change, one can note that it is inflexibility talking and a child stress symptom.
Tantrums and Irritation
You should always remember that kids throwing tantrums is pretty normal. Not every tantrum means stress. But, if the kid has been increasingly throwing tantrums and growing irritated, then you need to probably check on them. It is possible that the root cause of this irritation is stress which is making them throw all sorts of tantrums.
Crying
When your child is crying, sometimes for no reason at all, see the reason behind it. You may find that your child is suffering from stress. Sometimes, crying is their way of establishing a sign for stress. Some kids get angry when they are stressed out, and the way they react or behave shows the amount of stress hidden in them.
These are some child stress symptoms that should not be ignored at all.
