Solutions To Common Unhealthy Habits
Unhealthy habits and lifestyle affects out health. We all know that, still we are lazy or careless to change our habits. Simple steps or solutions can help you overcome unhealthy habits. Working professionals find it more difficult change due to their busy schedule. Here is a brief description of a few unhealthy habits and the solutions to them.

Skipping meals or eating junk food: You skip your meal either to lose weight or while running late for work. If you skip meals because you were loaded with work and didn't get much time to have your meal, then do not think that it is healthy! You will feel lethargic if you skip meals intentionally or unintentionally.
Solution: Carry some snacks with you. For example, have apples, nuts and few other healthy snacks that can be munched on any time. Eat at least 4 times a day to stay energetic and active. To be healthy and active both mentally and physically, do not skip meals. Have some light snacks if you do not have time for heavy meals. But, make sure you have at least 3 meals every day.
Lack of sleep: This is one of the rising problems of working professionals. Proper sleep ensures a healthy body and mind. If you were busy working from home late in the night till early morning, do not sleep for just 3-4 hours. Make sure you sleep for at least 7-8 hours every day. Proper sleep will prevent you from becoming lethargic and also reduces chances of headache.
Solution: Reduce the intake of caffeine. Working professionals have this unhealthy habit of drinking too much coffee just to stay awake at work and feel fresh. Avoid having coffee 5-6 hours before going to bed. Do not sit on a computer or laptop after dinner. Your eyes need rest too! Build a sleepy ambiance and see how sleep takes over you!
Lack of workout: These days, many working professionals do not get time to hit the gym or go out for a walk regularly. Office timings, meetings, home, family and friends are already in the waiting list. However, you have to find out little time every day to workout. Neglecting exercise will only add to the unhealthy lifestyle of working professionals. Weight gain, lethargy, body pain are few common problems that you face if you avoid exercise.
Solution: The best solution to this unhealthy habit is to workout regularly. Even if you spend 15 minutes in a day for exercise, you would not regret in the later stages of life.
