10 Foods To Avoid Before Wedding
The wedding season is back again. Before the marriage, both the bride and the groom prepare themselves to look the best on their big day. Going on a diet, hitting the gym and having lots of fluids is the basic to-do diet list of the brides and grooms to be. There are special diets that the couple can follow before their wedding.
However, very few follow a proper diet before their wedding. To lose weight, you do not need to go on a crash diet or become a gym freak. All you need is the inclusion of healthy and nutritious foods that are low in fat and filled with proteins and nutrients. For example, green vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts can help you lose weight, stay fit and also get glowing skin. But, there are a few foods that you should avoid before your wedding. For example, eating ice cream and chocolates to brighten up your dull and tired mood is a nice solution but not a healthy one.
If you want to look perfectly shaped in your wedding trousseau, check out the list of foods that you should avoid before the wedding.
10 Foods to avoid before the wedding day:
Junk food
Say "No" to burgers and French fries. They are very high in calories and will lead to weight gain.
Sodas
Tired of shopping and want to drink something chilled? Avoid sodas and go for smoothies. They are healthy and filling too.
Dairy products
Milk and cheese can be difficult to digest and cause bloating due to gas. Even cheese and yogurt can lead to weight gain. Skimmed milk and low fat cheese are healthy.
Artificial sweeteners
Love candies and chewing gums? They can damage your teeth and lead to mouth odour. Instead of damaging your teeth, whiten them by excluding candies and gums.
Caffeine
A cup of coffee is refreshing but caffeine can decrease water retention in the body. Avoid caffeinated drinks before the wedding. Drink water and healthy juices.
Salt
Stop sprinkling salt over the food. Salty foods increase blood pressure and also leads to dehydration.
Beans
Beans are healthy but they lead to gas and bloating problems. Avoid them before the wedding. It also contains a certain type of sugar that is difficult to digest.
Champagne
Limit the consumption of champagne as it is a carbonated drink that can disrupt the digestive system and also lead to gas.
Pasta
This tastes yummy but is a starchy food that causes bloating and gas. Stay away from starchy foods like pasta, rice and potatoes.
Desserts
Puddings and pies can tempt anyone but the artificial sweeteners and high calories in them can lead to weight gain.
