1.Prostate Health – The first health tip for men over 40 is to be more concerned about prostate health. After the age of 40, there is an enlargement in the men prostate gland which can be caused due to infection, inflammation which is also known as Prostatitis. The symptom of enlarged prostate gland is frequent nighttime urination. If disgnosed at an early stage, it is easily curable. Tomatoes, greens and soy are some of the things to prevent and cure the disease.
2.Avoid White Food – The next health tip for men over 40 is to void the intake of white food like white flour, white sugar etc. Several studies have proved that white food white food increases the blood sugar level, leads to weight gain and diabetes. Focus more on lean protein, fiber rich food, whole grain etc.
3.Save Your Heart – The next health risk after 40 is to the heart. Researches have proved that men suffer heart diseases more than women and most of the heart diseases cases in men are after 40. To prevent it stop consuming trans fat, which is found in fried food, butter, margerine etc. Olive oil and omega-3 fatty acids should be consumed.
4.Gyming – There is no short cut to hard work and healhty living. Thus, the next tip is to hit the gym. Osteoporosis is inevitable as your body ages. To prevent it one needs to workout hard. Resistance exercises, weight bearing exercises, flexibility exercises etc are few ways to prevention.
5.Say No To Smoking - One of the most important health tips is to cut down on cigarette smoking. It uses up the vitamin C in your body, thus, leading to premature aging. So, if you are 40 and look like 50, you know what is causing it.
6.Avoid Stressing Out – With time your job pressure increases but it's the time when memory stars to detoriate. You tend to forget and stress out. This too can add years to your system. To avoid stressing yoga and meditation is the best cure.
So, all men over 40, take care of your health and you can still enjoy life like a 20 year old.
