One way to get loads of vitamin C is through the pineapple-kiwi smoothie. Kiwi offers both vitamin K and C. A medium sized kiwi may contain at least 40 calories.
How many calories does a fat slice of pineapple contain? Around 80 calories. It offers manganese along with vitamin C.
Vitamin C plays an important role in healing of wounds, vitamin K helps in clotting of blood and manganese helps in brain function and nerves. And yes, the best part of pineapple is bromelain which is anti-inflammatory in nature. People suffering from arthritis need it.

Ingredients
You will need 6-8 pineapple slices and 3-4 kiwi fruits.

Step #1
Remove the peel of the kiwi fruits and even the pineapple. Chop both of them into small pieces.

Step #2
Add then to a blender and juice up both of them. You can add a few drops of lemon at the end.

Consumption
Drink a glass of this mixture every day for 7-10 days. During that time, you are not supposed to consume soda, foods made of refined flours, processed foods and white flour.

When To Drink
The best time to drink this is either 30 minutes before breakfast or 15 minutes before lunch.
