Imagine you have been experiencing constipation for a couple of days and you cannot help yourself from releasing the gas in your body at work or in a meeting, it can be quite embarrassing, right?
Apart from that, constipation can also cause a lot of stomach pain, gastritis, bloating and related digestive ailments that can be very uncomfortable and hamper your daily routine!

Constipation occurs when a person's bowel movements do not happen as often as they are supposed to due to various reasons like hardening of the stools, digestive ailments, poor diet, lack of exercise, etc.
When there is difficulty in a person's bowel movements, it may result in the person not being able to pass stools with ease, leading to the problem of constipation.
So, if you want to avoid constipation in the future, there are a few types of foods that you should stay away from.

1. Fast Foods
Fries, pizzas, burgers, chaats, etc, may be tasty; however, they can also induce constipation, as they are high in sodium and fat content, which may reduce your bowel movements!

2. Dairy Products
Although dairy products are required to maintain a balanced healthy diet, too much of it can cause constipation such as milk, cheese, etc, which contain a hight amount of proteins, thereby causing gas and constipation.

3. Pastries
Pastries, cookies, sweets, etc, are high in sugar and fat content and low in fibre content, so they can harden your stools, leading to constipation.

4. Unripe Fruit
Consuming fruit that are not ripe can lead to constipation, as they are low in fluids and fibre, whereas high in starch and tannins, which slow down the bowel movement.

5. Red Meat
Consumption of too much of red meat on a regular basis can cause constipation, as it is known to decrease the mucus in your intestines, leading to hardened stools.

6. Bread
Whole grain bread, brown bread, white bread - be it any kind, bread can lead to constipation, as it is high in yeast and carbohydrate content, which can take a long time for you to digest the food!

7. Eggs
As eggs are low in fibre and high in fat and protein content, they may induce constipation in a few people!
