1. Processed Meat:

Many of us have the habit of consuming processed meat, which is not good. It contains an ingredient called Neu5Gc that leads to inflammation. Hence, processed meat should be strictly avoided.


2. Refined Carbohydrates:

Refined carbohydrates like white bread break down the food quickly leading to an increase in the blood sugar level which in turn leads to an increased level of body inflammation.


3. Dairy Products:

Moderate consumption of dairy products, especially probiotics like yogurt can help in reducing the inflammation level but the consumption of cheese can cause inflammation. Those who are allergic to milk should avoid consuming it to prevent inflammation.


4. Fried Foods:

Consuming fried foods should be completely avoided. It not just increases the bad cholesterol level in the body but it also causes inflammation in the body.


5. Alcohol:

Alcohol when consumed in high amount is bad for one's health. It has certain inflammatory properties that has a bad effect on the liver, oesophagus and the larynx as well.


6. Foods Containing Monosodium Glutamate (MSG):

Foods containing monosodium glutamate (MSG), especially the fast foods like noodles, trigger inflammation and are bad for one's health when consumed in excess amount.


7. Sugar-Containing Foods:

The fructose contained in sugar is very harmful when it comes to inflammation. Foods that contain high amount of sugar like pastries, ice-creams, fruit drinks and also tea or coffee should be strictly avoided to prevent inflammation.


8. Vegetable Oils:

Vegetable cooking oils contain a high amount of omega-6 fatty acids, which is one of the most common ingredients that cause inflammation. Hence, its consumption should be brought down or completely avoided.


9. Soda:

Soft drinks is one of the worst beverages. It contains fructose and other additives that trigger inflammation.


10 Saturated Fats:

Consumption of fast foods like burgers and pizzas should be avoided as these are loaded with saturated fats. These contain pro-inflammatory properties that cause inflammation in the body and hence these should be strictly avoided.
