Take half a spoon of turmeric and add it to one cup of boiling water. Now, add one spoon of honey to taste and enjoy this water twice in a day. Other than this, you can also take 250 to 500 mg of turmeric capsules to treat the problem completely.

Mustard oil helps to treat painful knee and also helps to lower down the inflammation on the knees. Apart from this, mustard oil helps to improve blood circulation in the body, thus alleviating the pain and working as a really nice home remedy for knee pain. Take two-three spoons of mustard oil and add a few chopped garlic to the oil. Now, heat the oil until the garlic turns brown. Allow the mixture to cool down and massage your knee with this solution. Then, cover the knee with a plastic cap, so that the air does not come in contact with the knee. Do this for two to three times in a day.

Epsom salt contains magnesium sulphate which helps to bring a good relief from the knee pain.
