1. Gram Lentil:
Consuming gram lentil in the form of soup helps to postpone your periods for a few days from the date of your periodic cycle. Start to have it a few days prior to your cycle for best results.

2. Parsley:
Boil parsley leaves, strain it and take it in the form of soup along with a teaspoon of honey. This helps in delaying your periods. Have it as long as you want to delay your periods.

3. Lemon:
Lemon is filled with citric acid. Chew pieces of lemon or squeeze its juice in a glass of water and drink it a few days prior to your periodic cycle. Keep in mind that it should not be taken if you are already menstruating.

4. Water:
Drinking a good amount of water helps in delaying your periods. Added to this it also helps ease the pain during periods.

5. Vinegar:
If you are looking out to delay your periods, then vinegar would help. Take about a teaspoon of vinegar, add it to a glass of water and start drinking at least twice a day, a few days prior to your menstrual cycle.

6. Keep off spicy food:
If you are looking out to postpone your periods then keep off spicy foods during your pre-menstrual period. Spicy foods generate heat in the body and sometimes prepone the periods.

7.Apple Cider Vinegar:
Add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of water and consume it 2-3 times a day. This should be consumed a few days ahead of the menstrual cycle to get the period delayed.

8. Gelatin:
Having gelatin in the form of powder or jelly helps in delaying periods. It should be consumed a few days prior to the period cycle till the time one wants to get the period delayed.
