From the time you wake up to the time you have lunch, you feel perfectly fine. But soon after lunch, you start getting an uneasy feeling in your tummy. It is not a pain but a sensation of being too full. You may also see a visible bloating. It leaves you in an uncomfortable state for the rest of the day. Yes, there are medicines that give relief, but as long as it lasts, it gives great agony. What could be the reasons behind this? Could there be foods to avoid stomach bloating?

Before we go into foods to avoid stomach bloating, it would be better to look at the some of the causes behind the condition. Some of the common stomach bloating causes include excessive salt intake, overeating, excessively spicy food, consuming carbonated drinks and constantly chewing gum. Another reason could be the manner in which you take your food like drinking through a straw or eating too fast without proper chewing.

There are also certain types of foods that lead to bloating in some people. Those are dairy products, beans, artificial sweeteners, whole grains, cabbages, sprouts and broccoli.
