EXERCISES TO PREVENT BREAST CANCER
Garlic, which belongs to the Allium class of bulb-shaped plants, is rich in sulfur, arginine, oligosaccharides, flavonoids, and selenium. Here are some reasons why Ayurveda recommends garlic for the prevention and management of cancer.

Anti- tumerogenic
Allium vegetables, including garlic, has antiproliferative activity on tumor cells, which mainly work through induction of apoptosis and alterations of the cell cycle. This makes garlic and other organosulfur compounds act as cancer-preventive agents.
Effective inhibition
Garlic and its organic allyl sulfur components are proved to be effective inhibitors of the cancer process. The most interesting fact is that the action of garlic is not limited to any particular tissue or to a specific carcinogen. A reduction in the activation of cancer-causing substances is the main property.

Enhance DNA repair
Proper DNA repair mechanism is very important in preventing and managing cancer, including breast cancer. Garlic extracts are proved to be effective in promoting the proper functioning of the cell DNA repair mechanism.
Free radical scavenging
Free radicals are one of the major culprits while considering cancer. Allium vegetables, including garlic helps in destroying these harmful free radicals, which will in turn contribute to a healthy body system.
Reduce cell proliferation
Excess proliferation of cells is what we call cancer. Using garlic regularly is found to be effective in controlling the cell proliferation. This study points towards a hopeful future to those who are trying to manage breast cancer.
Induce cell death
To keep the proper balance of the body, formation and destruction of cells should with a balance. There are many studies to support and promote the regular intake of allium vegetables to prevent and manage cancer growth by inducing cell death.
Since garlic preparations vary, determining the exact dietary supplement amount to decrease cancer risk is difficult. According to the World Health Organization, recommendation for adults is a daily dose of 2 to 5 g of fresh garlic (approximately one clove), 0.4 to 1.2 g of dried garlic powder, 2 to 5 mg of garlic oil, 300 to 1,000 mg of garlic extract, or other formulations that are equal to 2 to 5 mg of allicin.
