Act Quickly
When you realise that you are having a cardiac arrest or you suspect so, act quickly. You might lose consciousness at any point of time. So call for emergency medical services, let your family know and if you are in public cry out for help.
Chew Aspirin
Aspirin helps to dilute the blood and dissolve blood clots. So, chew the aspirin tablet immediately or dissolve it in a glass of water and gulp it down.
Minimize Activity
You must avoid exertion at any cost when you are having a heart attack. Your cardiac muscles are not able to breathe so any activity will only tire them out sooner. Stay still and buy time until you get to the hospital.
