Common Stomach Problems n Their Cure
Stomach problems are among the common health problems that we face. In fact when we want to take a leave for no reason at all, we call in sick saying that we have an upset stomach. It is such a common stomach problem that even your boss wouldn't suspect that you are bunking work. But although stomach problems are common, they do make you sick.
That is why it is important to find a cure for these stomach problems. The worst part about having stomach problems like indigestion or gas is that you cannot enjoy your meal. When your stomach and bowels do not feel all right, you are just not yourself. Besides stomach problems become chronic over a period of time. If you ignore the fact that you are having indigestion everyday, then you will end up with irritable bowel syndrome.
Most often there are very simple cures for stomach problems but we just don't ray heed to them. If you have gassy stomach or abdominal pain or any other such discomfort you can easily look for a cure. Here are some of the most common stomach problems and their cures.

Acid Reflux
Acid reflux happens when when your stomach acids react. If you don't eat anything for a long times, the acidic enzymes in your stomach become strong. After that, as soon as you eat food, the acids consume it and make it rise upwards. The best way to beat acid reflux is cold milk.

Gassy Stomach
Gas is nothing but some heavy air that is produced while digesting heavy fibrous foods like cabbage. You stomach feels stretched and you might also experience heart burns due to gas. You can either practice the pavanmuktasana, a yoga asana that will make you fart or have have lots of water to dilute the gas.

Gastric Ulcers
When your your meal timing are very irregular, the acidic enzymes erode the stomach lining. This causes severe pain and burning in the stomach. Medicines can control peptic ulcers but they can always recur. So have food after every 2 hours.

Indigestion
Indigestion is a relatively simple stomach problem. If you have very heavy or spicy food, the stomach is not able to digest it. At this time you can have jaljeera (cumin water with black salt) to ease your digestion.

Loose Motions
Loose motions usually happen when you have eaten food that has not been hygienically cooked or has gotten spoiled. This makes your bowels give way and pass stool too many times. Raw banana are great to tighten your bowel movement. You can also have ORS or water with salt and sugar.

Constipation
When you eat food that has too much of proteins and carbs but very little roughage, your stool becomes hard. This might mean that you cannot pass stool for days. It will kill your appetite and cause abdominal pain. Have milk and papaya in case of constipation.

Lactose Intolerance
Some adult human beings lack the enzyme to digest milk which is called lactose. So having milk or milk products leads to indigestion. The only thing you can do here is avoid dairy products all together.

Worms
Sometimes, worms enter our stomach from unhygienic or infected food. In fact meat that is not processed properly may contain worms. These worms cause stomach ache and made your rectum itch a lot. You need to take de-worming medicines to get rid of stomach worms.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome
When you have chronic indigestion and stomach pain, then it could mean that you have irritable bowel syndrome. Your digestive power is significantly reduced during this time. Since this disease is not curable (,)you have to be careful with what you eat.
