Reasons For Snoring
1.Weight Gain – Weight gain is one of the most common reasons of snoring. Sometimes due to excessive fat on the neck, the throat muscles get narrow, which causes snoring. This excessive fat needs to be workout to avoid further problems like breathing disorder etc.
2.Age – As the body ages, the muscles in the throat loose toning making the air passage narrow. This grows up to become one of the major reasons of the snoring.
3.Cough And Cold – Most of the time lumps of mucus clog in the airway, creating infections. Due to blockage in the wind pipe and infection, a person might start snoring. This is a serious problem and cures should be taken to avoid chronic nasal infection.
4.Nasal Deformity – Mostly after sinus operation, the nose is left tilted. This deformity not only creates deformity but at the same time leads to snoring. It is advised not to re-operate for a long period of time after sinus operation. Thus, it is best to go for a sinus operation from a reputed doctor.
5. Genetic - Cures for this is also available but mostly genetic snoring is difficult to cure.
Each of the five reasons for snoring is a serious affair. Snoring due to age factors and genetic reasons may not be harmful to health but other reasons specially fat accumulation is one of the most dangerous reasons. Treatment is now easily available but one should visit the doctor at an early stage.
