2.Adho Mukha Svanasana
The Adho Mukha Svanasana, also known as the Downward Dog pose, is one of the most common yoga poses to detoxify the body. In this aasana, yoga practitioners engage the abdomen, encouraging digestion. It also helps increase both blood and lymph circulation.
3.Viparita Karani
Viparita Karani is an aasana where you have to lie on your back and place your legs upside along the wall. This helps to increase blood and lymph circulation. Fresh blood flows to the abdomen encourage digestion and this pose also calms the nervous system.
4.Parivritta Marichyasana
Another yoga pose that helps detoxify the body is Parivritta Marichyasana, which squeezes the abdominal organs to stimulate digestion. You have to sit up tall with your legs straight. Bend your right knee and bring the sole of your right foot to the floor just in front of your right sitting bone. Rest your right hand on the floor behind your back for support.
5.Sasangasana
Sasangasana, also known as the Rabbit Pose, is an intense forward bending pose. This pose lengthens the spine and stretches the back, arms, and shoulders while stimulating the immune and endocrine systems. This pose resembles a bunny rabbit stretching itself into a ball, rounding the back. This is an effective yoga pose that helps detoxify the body.
6.Parivritta Parsvakonasana
This aasana stimulates digestion and blood flow, but also offers added leg strengthening and elongation of the spine. Revolved Side Angle Pose is a deep, standing twist that challenges your balance and strengthens your legs and core. It stimulates and tones the abdominal organs and lungs, which improves digestion, elimination, metabolism, and breathing capacity.
7.Salamba Sarvangasana
In Salamba Sarvangasana, you have to balance your body using your shoulder. Lying on the back with the hands under the mid-back, the legs and lower body are lifted so that the weight of the body is supported on the head, neck, shoulders and upper arms. It helps in better sleep, cardiovascular system, digestion and focus. This yoga pose is quite beneficial in detoxifying your body, while helping you to relax.
