Heat Generating Vegetables To Avoid
Vegetables are a natural source of vitamins, minerals and every essential nutrient required by us. They are a bank deposit of good things one want. But, there are a few vegetables that have the quality and natural capability in them to increase body heat and temperature.
A few vegetables that are rich in carbohydrates and proteins tend to have the property of increasing the body temperature. These vegetables are useful for people who want to cut down fats and lose weight. But this is good only till some extent. During summers it is very difficult to cool yourself down especially when the ambient temperature is very high. In such days, you should avoid eating these vegetables that increase body heat.
Increase in body heat in all seasons is a problem for many individuals. It causes issues like hormonal imbalances, acne and other skin problems, piles and other digestive problems and so on. Such individuals who face these problems every now and then should avoid vegetables that increase body heat and temperature. The following is a list of such vegetables that increase body heat and temperature:
Ginger
Ginger has a spicy and hot flavor to it. It has natural properties to add to our body temperature. This is due to the spicy flavors that it contains. Therefore this is one vegetable that one must avoid as it can increase the body temperature. But a little amount of ginger is good for health and does not cause many problems. Regular consumption and eating ginger in a huge quantity can be a problem for your body health.
Hot Peppers
Chilies and capsicum are some vegetables of the pepper family that has the potential to increase body temperature. The pepper family stimulates the circulatory system of the body which in turn increases the body heat and temperature. Peppers should be consumed cautiously as some species have the ability to burn the skin of your mouth.
Carrots
The orange "Bugs Bunny" food has a lot of heat content inside and can increase body temperatures. Their strong flavor help to increase the working of the circulatory system of the body, thereby increasing the internal temperature of the body. Hence, carrot is one heat generating vegetable to avoid.
Onions
Onions are vegetables that have the capability to spice up every food and is an essential part of many cuisines. But this vegetable has the property of heating up your body and causing hormonal imbalances as well. Onions are so good at increasing the temperature of your body that if they are kept tight in your underarms, the temperature of your body increases giving it an effect of fever. Thus, if you have heat problems than onions are the heat generating vegetables to avoid.
Leafy Vegetables
Leafy vegetables like lettuce, spinach and others are very healthy and good for our body. They are very rich in anti oxidants and hence help prevent diseases. But these green vegetables are rich in proteins. Thus, when consumed the proteins breakdown to release a lot of heat. This heat increases the body temperature. Thus if you have problems with internal heat than leafy vegetables that generate heat should be avoided.
Increased Body Temperature
The above vegetables increase body temperature. But, if they are consumed in a controlled way they have a lot of benefits and cause no harm. Therefore, do not completely avoid these vegetables as they are a source of a lot of other nutrients.
