5 Pool Exercises To Get In Shape!

Pool Exercises
Pool exercises are the best for toning up because they give you an important advantage, resistance from water. While you do water exercises you are actually having fun in the pool and also having a toning workout at the same time. It can be a double bonanza unless you just splash around in the pool and lose your energy in useless distraction. If you want to lose weight fast and and don't want to go through the rut of gyms and fitness centres then you have to get a good trainer and hit the pool!

Here are some effective pool exercises that increase your muscle strength and also help you shape up at the same time.

5 Toning Pool Exercises:

1. Spider-man: You have to do exactly as the name suggests, climb walls like spider man. This gravity defying water exercise is possible only in the pool. If you try to do this outside the pool you will break a few bones. Claw at the side walls of the pool and grip on to it like spider man does. Now move along the boundaries of the pool this way. You have to do about 3 to four laps for burning some serious fat.

2. Chaos Cardio: This is a very interesting cardio pool exercise that makes maximum use of the resistance provided by water in the pool. You have to create ripples in the water and then walk straight through those unbalancing ripples. To put it simply you have to run zig zig through the pool first and then run straight though those currents. It is not easy at all because the ripples will throw you off balance and you have to hold yourself while running.

3. Fly Backs: These are just like the butteries you do in the gym but without the weights because you have the added pressure of the water on your chest. This is basically a toning workout for your chest muscles. Bend one knee and touch it to the floor of the swimming pool; pull the other knee behind to balance yourself. Now do sets of ten by pulling your arms back and pushing it in front again.

4. Cardio Core Ball Running: Deceptively simple and fat burning, this cardio exercise teaches you the basics of balance. You have to hold a rubber ball at waist height ahead of you with both hands and run from one end of the pool to another. The ball will make you lose your centre of gravity but you must hold on.

5. Pike Skull: This is the best water exercise to work out on your abs. You need to float your self in a 'V' shape with your feet out and your head popping out. To achieve this you have scoop water with your cupped hands as if you are hand paddling. This will shape up your waist tremendously.

Use these pool exercises to shape up with fun.
