Jhatpat Egg Pulao Recipe In Just 15 Minutes
All of us love to eat good food and if it gets ready in minutes, then it's more appreciated. Quick recipes are essential for the busy life that we lead. There is hardly any time for long and complicated recipes, especially during the week.
So, today we have a 15-minute rice recipe that will serve all your purposes of a meal or a lunchbox item. You may use leftover rice from your refrigerator as well to prepare this amazing egg pulao recipe.

Eggs are a good source of protein and other nutrients. Having eggs as part of your meal is definitely a healthy option for you. A handful of your kitchen ingredients is all that it takes to make this easy pulao recipe in minutes.

Cooking time: 15 minutes
All you need
Cooked rice- 2 cups
Eggs- 2
Onions- 2 (chopped)
Garlic- 4 pods (chopped)
Tomatoes- 2 (chopped)
Green chillies- 2 (chopped)
Fresh green peas- 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder- 1/2tsp
Red chilli powder- 1tsp
Black pepper powder- 1tsp
Garam masala powder- 1tsp
Roasted sesame seeds- 1tbsp
Salt- as per taste
Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till they turn golden brown.
2. Then, add the chopped garlic and fry for a few seconds.
3. Break the eggs carefully and add it to the pan. Keep mixing till the eggs are properly cooked.
4. Add salt, black pepper, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, tomatoes, green peas and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
5. Now, add the rice and mix well. Add garam masala powder and mix well.
6. Once done, switch off the flame and sprinkle the roasted sesame seeds over the rice. Serve hot.
Egg pulao is ready to be served. You can have it with or without a curry as well.
Nutritional Value
This egg pulao is healthy as it does not contain too much of calories. It is a complete meal with good amounts of iron, protein and other nutrients. A plate of this delicious egg pulao is rich in Vitamin A and C as well.
Tips
- You may use the leftover rice from the previous night to prepare this pulao.
- Add in the veggies of your choice to make it more nutritious.
- Shreds of chicken can also be added if you prefer.
