Aloo Gobi Pulao Recipe
Do you want to prepare a main course recipe that is easy to prepare and also tastes delicious at the same time. Aloo Gobi pulao is a main course recipe that can be easily prepared. This pulao stands out due to the exotic spices that goes in the making of this main course food.
Aloo gobhi pulao is a complete meal prepared with the tasty basmati rice, including cauliflower florets and potatoes that are combined with rice and cooked together in the pressure cooker. This is the perfect meal for the weekend as it not only makes your cooking easy but also ensures that you have enough time for yourself.

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Ingredients
- Potato cubes- 3/4 cup (peeled)
- Cauliflower florets- 1 cup
- Basmati- 3 cups (soaked and drained)
- Ghee- 2tbsp
- Cinnamon- 1
- Cloves- 5
- Bayleaves- 2
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder- 1tsp
- Salt- as per taste
Procedure
- Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker, add cinnamon, cloves and bayleaves and saute on a medium flame for a few seconds.
- Now add the rice and saute on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the cauliflower, potatoes, rice, turmeric powder, chilli powder & salt and saute on a medium flame for about 1 minute.
- Add 3½ cups of hot water, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
Your aloo gobi pulao is ready to relish, serve hot garnished with vegetable raitha.
