Fruit And Cheese Toast For Breakfast
What do we really want from our breakfast? The answer to that question would be lots of energy and very little calories. So, what we have here is an easy breakfast recipe that fulfils both these pre-requisites. The dish is called fruit toast with cheese. Don't shrink your nose because it says a cheese toast. Cheese is not always fattening.
The fruits on the toast gives you a lot of vitamins and minerals. While the cheese on the toast gives you a boost of proteins and energy. Having cheese and fruit for breakfast gives you a perfect balance of nutrients required. The best part about fruit toast with cheese is that, it need not be cooked on a flame. That is why this dish makes a super fast, easy and delicious breakfast recipe.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- Bread- 4 slices
- Cheese- 2 slices
- Apple- 1/2 (cut into small pieces)
- Stawberries- 4 (cut into halves)
- Cucumber- 8 slices
- Salad dressing- 1tbsp
- Olive Oil- 1tsp
- White pepper- 1/2 tsp
- Salt- as per taste
Procedure
- Place the bread slices in a toaster till it gets crispy brown.
- You can also toast the slices of bread on a heated pan.
- Meanwhile, chop all the fruits namely strawberries, apples and cucumber and keep them aside.
- Cut the slices of cheese into halves.
- Now place half of a cheese slice on the toast.
- Then put cucumber slices on it.
- Finally top it with apple and stawberries.
- Drizzle some salad dressing and olive oil on the fruit toast.
- In the end, season the dish with salt and pepper.
Have fruit toast with cheese for a yummy and healthy breakfast. Wash it down with a light fruit juice.
