Most of us love to eat this sweet, but how many of us know how to prepare it, in our own homes?
Well, the yummiest sweet that we are going to prepare is the badusha.
Often do we eat this sweet in any functions or in the sweet shops. But less did we know that this one of the easy recipes that we can prepare in no time.
Easy To Cook Khowa Coconut Barfi
You can cook this sweet recipe for the upcoming festivals. Badusha is quite famous in south India. The sweet is prepared using the basic ingredients and yet, this gives a lovely taste.

Serves - 5

Preperation time - 15 min
Ingredients
- Maida - 3 cups
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Baking powder - 1tsp
- Baking soda - 1 pinch
- Milk - 1 cup
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Dried Coconut grated - for garnishing
- Oil

Procedure
- In a mixing bowl, add 3 cups of maida and 4 to 5 tbsp of ghee. Mix it thouroughly.
- Add baking soda and baking powder to it. Now, add milk and mix it well to make a soft dough.
- Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Take small quantity from the dough and shape it in to a ball or a triangle.
- In a pan add oil. After it is heated, add the round/ traingle shaped dough.
- Bake it on both the sides until it turns brown in colour.
- Menawhile, in another pan, add 3 to 4 cups of water and 2 cups of sugar. Wait for it to boil.
- Keep stiring and make sure the sugar syrup turns thick.
- After the badusha are fries till red, keep it aside.
- To the sugar syrup, add badusha.
- Now, sprinkle dried coconut for garnishing.
- You can now serve hot and yummy badusha.
