Shrimp Brazil Soup
It is said that the core culture of Brazil is from the Portuguese background. The Brazilian Cuisine however varies greatly by region, reflecting the country's mix of native and immigrant populations. The natural beverage of Brazil is 'Coffee' and the Brazilian liquor called 'cachaca'.
Here is a mouth watering sea food soup recipe that will make you drool.

All you will need:-
11/2 lbs medium sized shrimps, peeled and cut
¾ cup of long-grain rice
1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk
1 ¾ cups crushed tomatoes
1 red chopped bell pepper
1 chopped onion
' tsp. red pepper flakes
3 minced cloves garlic
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
' cup cilantro, chopped
¼ tsp. black pepper
1 ¾ tsp salt to taste
5 cups water

Start Cooking:-
First you start off by heating the olive oil in a small pan or a deep dish on a low flame. Now add in the onions , the bell pepper and the garlic and cook it for about 7 to 8 minutes until the vegetables are cooked properly. Now add in the long grain rice, the crushed tomatoes , the red pepper flakes, salt and water to boil. Now under a medium flame, boil for about 10 to 15 minutes till the rice is boiled. Pour in the coconut milk , and after a boil add in the shrimp to the mixture. Keep under the low flame for about 5 to 6 minutes so that the shrimp is well boiled. Now add in the pepper, cilantro and the lemon juice.

Your tasty soup is now ready to eat. Enjoy the richness of Brazil in your own home.
