A crispy masala papad topped with deliciously tangy spicy salad makes a very refreshing appetiser. Today we are here to share the recipe of masala papad.
Masala Papad has a tangy twist. It is filled with different flavors and is very tempting. This masala papad recipe is very simple and easy to make.

Serves 2
Preparation time 10 mins
Cooking time 5 mins
All You Need:
- Plain papad - 2
- Tomatoes - 2 (diced)
- Cucumber - ½ cup (diced)
- Coriander - 2 tsp (chopped)
- Ginger - ½ tsp (shredded)
- Green chili - 1 (chopped)
- Lemon Juice - 3 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
Veg Starter: Chilli Gobi Dry Fry Recipe
For Garnish
- Salt To Taste
- Black salt - 1/4th tsp
- Cumin seed powder - ½ tsp
- Black pepper - ½ tsp
- Red chili - A Pinch
Procedure
- Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix it well until its even.
- In another bowl add tomatoes and cucumber cubes along with coriander, ginger shreds and green chillies and keep it aside.
- Add very little oil in a frying pan and roast the papads from both sides until a few brown spots appear.
- In a plate keep the raosted papad and top it with cucumber and tomato mixture.
- Sprinkle the dry ingredients on top of the papad and drizzle some lemon juice on top.
- Masala papad is ready to eat.

Healthy Tip: Masala papad is healthy as it contains salads and very little oil.
Tip: Remove the seeds from the tomatoes cubes as this helps keep the papads crunchy.
