Green Spinach Omelette: Healthy Breakfast
Green spinach omelette; sounds like a healthy and scrumptious meal doesn't it? Actually, if you love to eat eggs and are a bit lazy kind, then this is the perfect breakfast recipe for you.Omelette recipes are usually very easy. All you have to do is break the eggs, whip them up and fry them in a pan! The specialty of spinach omelette of course is the fact that it contains spinach leaves.
The spinach leaves are first boiled and then added to the omelette recipe. If you want a breakfast to spoil you, then you could also add a dash to cheese to the spinach filled omelette. The green leafy veggies present on this breakfast recipe gives you a high dose of nutrients early in the morning. Besides it is a very quick breakfast to rustle up in 10 minutes.

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Eggs- 2
- Spinach leaves- 1 bowl
- Cheese- 1 cube (grated)
- Pepper- ½ tsp
- Oregano- ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves- 1 stalk (chopped)
- Butter- 1tsp
- Milk- 1tbsp
- Salt- As per taste
Procedure
- Boil water in a pot until it bubbles. Then add the spinach leaves to it and cover with a lid.
- After 2-3 minutes, turn off the flame and strain the boiled spinach leaves from the pot.
- Break the spinach leaves between your fingers and keep aside.
- Break two eggs in a mixing bowl. Add milk, salt, pepper and oregano to it.
- Beat the eggs thoroughly.
- Then add the boiled spinach and coriander leaves to the eggs. Whisk the eggs again.
- Melt butter in a flat pan and pour the beaten eggs on to it.
- Cook both sides of the omelette for two minutes on low flame.
- Sprinkle grated cheese from the top.
Serve spinach omelette with bread and some fresh juice.
