Favorite Oil Free Recipe – Nuchinunde
Ingredients:
- 1 cup toor dal (soaked for 4 hours)
- 1/2 cup fresh coconut (grated)
- ' cup onion (chopped) [optional]
- 2-3 green chilies (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 2-3 strands coriander (finely chopped)
- 1 strand curry leaves
- Salt according to taste
How To Prepare This Fat Free Recipe?
- Coarsely grind all the above ingredients (except onion and coriander) and make small balls (ping pong size) of the mixture. (Combine onions and chopped coriander while making balls)
- Steam cook the balls for 15 to 20 minutes and the tasty oil free nuchinunde recipe is ready.
Relish the tasty nuchinunde with coriander or pudina chutney.
