Ramzan Special: Yummy Rui Macher Kalia Recipe
Macher Kalia means spicy fish curry in Bengali as it a famous dish there. It is a delicious and popular cuisine prepared during special occasions. Rohu is a famous fish of Bengal. Rui macher kalia is a rich flavoured and spicy Rohu fish made with tomatoes and onions. The gravy is thick and mouth watering. This fish curry is very nutritious and tasty. You can enjoy it having with white rice.
Ramazan Special: Kashmiri Mirchi Korma Recipe
- Rahu fish: One kilogram
- Tomato: half kilogram
- Onions: five
- Cinnamon : one large stick
- Turmeric: two teaspoon
- Kashmiri Red chili powder: one tablespoon
- Clove: one teaspoon
- Garlic: six cloves
- Ginger powder: one tablespoon
- Green Cardamom: six cloves
- Fenugreek seeds: one teaspoon
- Oil: five tablespoons
- Salt to taste

Serves: 4
Prepration time: one hour
Herb Fried Rice Recipe For Better Health
Method Of Preparation
1.Marinate fish with turmeric, salt and red chili.
2. Grind the onions and tomatoes separately to make a paste.
3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish. Add to it crushed garlic, ginger powder, fenugreek seeds, green cardamom, cloves and cinnamon.
4. Extract the juice from the onion paste and in a separate pan fry the onion paste.
5. Add this fried onion paste to the fried fish and cook at low flame.
6. Later add extracted onion juice and tomato paste.
7. Cook for half hour until the fish gravy gets thick.
8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
9.Serve hot with white rice.
