Salmon Tomato Fish Curry Recipe

Salmon Tomato Fish Curry Recipe

Serves: 3
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillet- 250 gms (boneless and cut into cubes)
  • Onion- 2 (finely chopped or ground)
  • Tomatoes- 2 (chopped or ground)
  • Green chillies- 4-5 (minced)
  • Garlic- 4-5 pods (grounded)
  • Coriander powder- 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder- 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1tsp
  • Fish stock- 1 cup
  • Cayenne pepper- 1tsp
  • Lime juice- 1tsp
  • Curry leaves- a few
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- 2tbsp

Procedure

  • Cut the salmon fillets into medium sized cubes.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan. When it turns hot, season with curry leaves and then add onions. Saute till it turns golden brown.
  • Add turmeric powder, green chillies, garlic, salt, cayenne pepper and mix well. After a minute, add tomatoes and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes.
  • Pour in the fish stock and bring it to boil. Add the lime juice and fish fillets.
  • Simmer for about 7-8 minutes on a medium flame and stir slowly so that the fish doesn't break.

Salmon fish with tomato curry is ready to eat. Serve it hot with rice or biryani.
