Banana Leaf Fish Recipe

Banana leaf steamed fish recipe:
Ingredients
500 gms pomfret fillets (cleaned and washed)
4 tbsp lemon juice
washed and cleaned banana leaves
oil
Make a paste of
1 cup grated coconut
6 chopped green chillies
1 tbsp coriander seeds
4 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt
little water
For garnishing
1 cup chopped coriander leaves
2-3 lemon slices
Directions to make banana leaf steamed fish recipe:
1. Cut the fish fillets horizontally and put salt and lemon juice. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
2. Apply the prepared paste and cover the fish fillets with it. Marinate the fillets for 20 minutes.
3. Place the banana leaves and spread oil on the leaves. Now put the fish fillets on the different leaves and wrap them. Steam these pieces for 20 minutes in a steamer.
Banana leaf steamed fish is ready to eat. Open the leaves while serving and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and lemon slices.
