Tomato Chicken: Microwave Recipe

Ingredients For Tomato Chicken:
1. Chicken-500 grams (cut into medium sized pieces)
2. Tomato pulp of 4 tomatoes
3. Onion-2 (paste)
4. Garlic-10 cloves (chopped finely)
5. Ginger-4 1-inch pieces
6. Green chillies-4 (chopped finely)
7. Bell pepper or capsicum-2 (chopped)
8. White pepper-2 teaspoons
9. Soy sauce-1 teaspoon
10. Coriander leaves (chopped)
11. Oil-2 tablespoons
12. Salt as per taste

Procedure For Tomato Chicken:

  • Make tomato pulp and onion paste separately in the grinder.
  • Heat oil in a deep microwavable pan for 2 minutes on maximum power.
  • Add white pepper and chopped green chilies to the oil and heat it on maximum power for 2 minutes to flavour it.
  • Add the garlic, ginger and onion paste to the oil and cook it for 4 minutes on 80 percent power.
  • Add the bell pepper and chicken pieces; cook for 4 minutes on 100 percent power.
  • Stir in the tomato pulp and add salt. Cook in the oven for 4 minutes on 80 percent power.
  • Now pour some soy sauce and sprinkle coriander leaves, add one and half cup of water. Cover and cook in the oven for 10-12 minutes on 80 percent power.

Your Tomato Chicken is ready to eat with rice or rotis. You can garnish it with fresh basil leaves.
