Ingredients
- 1 tbsp almond powder (4-5 crushed almonds)
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp finely grounded oatmeal
- 1 tsp honey
How to do
- In a bowl, add some almond powder and milk. Mix both the ingredients well.
- Next, add some milk and again mix well
- Now, add the grounded oatmeal powder to the mixture and blend everything well
- Lastly, add some honey and blend all the ingredients into one.
- Apply this mask on your face and neck and let it stay for 15-20 minutes
- Wash you face with clean water.
- Repeat this pack twice a week for desired results.
As a scrub
This can be used for all skin types.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp powdered oatmeal
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp honey
How to do
- In a small bowl, add some powdered oatmeal and honey. Mix both the ingredients well.
- Add sugar to it and mix.
- Take generous amount of oatmeal on your hands and massage your face and neck with it using your fingertips.
- Massage for about 5 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.
- Repeat this thrice a week for significant results.
As a toner
This is specially for those with sensitive skin type. However, it is also recommended for those with all skin types.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp finely grounded oatmeal
- ½ cup rosewater (optional)
- 1 cup water
How to do
- In a pan, heat the water and bring it to boiling point.
- Once the water starts to boil, add the oatmeal and let it cook for a few minutes. Keep stirring while the oatmeal gets cooked.
- Take the pan off the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.
- With the help of a strainer, strain the oatmeal juice out of it and store it in a spray bottle for future use. You can also add some rosewater to the oatmeal juice before pouring it into a spray bottle.
- You can simply spray the oatmeal toner on your face and leave it to dry or slightly massage it on your face using a cotton ball.
