Ways To Get Rid Of Spectacle Marks On Nose
Wondering how to get rid of spectacle marks on nose? Then, take a look at this article and opt for these simple home remedies.
Are you a regular spectacle user? If yes, these are like two windows for you, showing you the world!! Many people feel that spectacles can give one a scholarly look.
However, please remember that you have a hell a lot of choices to help yourself to look stylish on spectacles. Especially, if contact lens is not your cup of tea, you've got to be very selective about the choice of your spectacles.
The only disadvantage with the use of spectacles is that continuous usage of this can cause pigmentation and with long-term usage, these marks on the nose tend to deepen.
Tight eyewear can also cause marks on your nose and below your eyes. Heavy glasses, no doubt, definitely leave marks on the bridge of your nose. So, it is better that you buy light glasses.
Even with this, you are prone to have pigmentation and marks on your nose bridge and below the eyes. So, this is what you need to take care of. This is absolutely embarrassing, especially when you are in Business meetings or out on special occasions, since it shows on the skin.
I personally always prefer to use natural home remedies as a resolution. There are a number of simple home remedies to get rid of these spectacle marks on the nose; and if you are a regular spectacle user, you have reached the right place.
Here we have shared some of the simple home remedies that you could make use of to get rid of the spectacle marks on nose and below the eyes.
Aloe Vera:
The gel of aloe vera is very soothing to the skin. It is anti-inflammatory, rich in antioxidants and full of vitamins A, E, and C. Just remove the gel from a piece of aloe vera and apply it around the affected area just before going to bed. This will heal the tissues and lighten the dark spots. Alternately, you can also apply it during the day time and let it dry. Then you can rinse it off with warm water. This will leave your skin soft and supple, and regular usage will help banish the dark marks.
Lemon:
Lemon is a natural bleach for the skin because of the citric acid present in it. Extract the juice of a lemon, dilute it with some water. Now take a cotton pad, dip it in the lemon juice solution and place it over the affected area on your nose and under the eyes. Repeat this daily because this is the easiest and best home remedy to get rid of the spectacle marks on nose.
Cucumber:
Use cucumber slices over the darkened areas. This will work on your scars and also help to cool your eyes. You can also squeeze some cucumber juice and apply it on the spectacle marks on your nose to lighten them. Ensure you follow this home remedy regularly.
Potatoes:
Potato is a natural mild bleach, hence this can be used to reduce the hyperpigmentation marks. It really helps to lighten the skin. Take a piece of thinly sliced potato and keep it on the affected area for about 20 minutes. Then, remove the slice and rinse off. Use this regularly to lighten the dark marks. You can also grate a piece of potato, extract the juice and massage this over the affected area. Leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes and rinse off.
Tomatoes:
Take a slice of tomato and place it on the affected area. Leave it on for a few minutes and remove it. Another method of using tomato is to use the puree to massage it over the affected area. Once dry, you can rinse off with normal water.
A mix of cucumber, potato and tomato juice can also be used, as this helps reduce the skin pigmentation caused by spectacles.
Rose Water:
Rose water again, is a natural skin toner. Dip a cotton pad in rose water and keep it on the affected area. Rinse off after a few minutes. Use regularly to see your dark spectacle marks vanish overtime. If you desire to use your own homemade rose water, just crush a few rose petals in water and use the same. Mixing a few drops of vinegar in the rose water before application, also helps.
Honey:
This treatment is like magic, as you can see great results in a very short period of time. Honey and milk are very soothing to the skin and oats can be used as an effective scrub. Now, how about the combo of all these three ingredients? Mix all of them together and apply the paste over the pigmented areas and dark spots. Let it dry for about 15 to 20 minutes, after which you can wash it off.
Orange Peel:
Orange peels are rich in citric acid that can act as a natural bleaching agent. Dry the orange peels very well and grind them to a fine powder. Take a small quantity of this powder, add some milk and mix well. Apply this paste on to the pigmented area on your nose and under-eyes and let it dry completely. Wash off and repeat daily for best results.
Almond Oil:
Almond oil is rich in Vitamin E, which is very effective in lightening the stubborn marks on your nose and under eyes. Just massage this oil as required over the affected areas. With regular use, your marks will fade away.
Apple Cider Vinegar:
Apple cider vinegar is a natural skin toner and an effective scar remover. You can wash your face with this solution and then rinse off with warm water. Repeat this daily for a clean and even toned skin. You can also just use this solution to massage it on the affected areas and then wash off. This helps to remove the dark spots on your nose bridge and under your eyes.
Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil is a natural healer with lot of benefits to the skin. Massage this oil daily to get rid of the ugly pigmentation and black marks on the nose due to spectacles. Daily application of coconut oil around the eyes and nose will help you gain clear skin.
Raw milk:
Raw milk is a great moisturizer with anti-tanning properties. Apply raw milk on the desired area and let it absorb well into the skin. Later, wash it off with lukewarm water. It is an amazing natural cleanser, which lightens the skin tone and helps you in attaining a glowing and flawless skin.
Gram Flour & Turmeric:
Gram flour is an excellent skin-lightening agent that is being used since ages. Turmeric is a wonderful healer with anti-inflammatory properties. All you need to do is to just mix the two of these natural ingredients into a paste and apply it to the affected area. This will reduce the scar marks caused due to the constant wearing of spectacles. Leave this mixture on your skin for about 20 minutes and then gently wash it off with warm water.
Tea Tree Oil:
Massage the affected area with tea tree oil and the anti-bacterial properties in this oil can help reduce the skin infections caused by wearing spectacles. Regular use can fetch best results.
Strawberry Juice:
Strawberry juice is also an effective treatment against pigmentation. Strawberries are rich in ellagic acid and have antioxidant properties. You can also use pomegranates and cherries in place of strawberries, as they are rich in antioxidants as well. They help remove the dead skin cells and would help in exfoliating your skin. Daily application of these natural juices can considerably lighten the scar marks.
