How To Make AHA Chemical Peel At Home

A lot of us would be a little against the idea of buying a chemical peel or going for one at the parlor. That is why, we are sharing a procedure on how to make an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) chemical peel at home.
Chemical peels are a great way to exfoliate the skin and give it a nice, smooth texture. It is also a great way to get rid of impurities on the face that may be causing problems like acne, pimples or blackheads.
In fact, using a peel is one of the best ways to get rid of blackheads at home. Another great thing about using peels is that they help get rid of the top layer of the skin which may be full of dead skin cell buildup and may have faced a lot of damage due to tanning.
So, why not try to make a chemical peel at home and see for yourself how amazing the effects of it can be? It is easy to make one at home and would this homemade face peel is going to benefit your skin immensely. Take a look!

1. Step 1:
Let's start from scratch in this procedure of how to make a chemical peel at home. Put white cane sugar in a bowl. Mix it with plain yogurt. These two ingredients are rich in glycolic acid or AHA.

2. Step 2:
Mix them up together till they form a thick, slightly grainy paste. It is best if the sugar is powdered and not granulated.

3. Step 3:
Apply this mixture generously all over your face with your fingertips, keeping the mix away from your eyes.

4. Step 4:
Let the homemade chemical face peel stay on your face for at least 15-20 minutes. Keep rubbing it in between. Later, leave it on and allow it to dry completely. Once done, peel it off and then rinse with cold water, so that the cold water seals your pores.

Results:
Your skin will feel as soft as a baby's skin after you wash it off, and it would be glowing, as all the dead skin cells will be removed due to the texture of the sugar.
The yogurt helps brighten the skin because it contains lactic acid and even helps moisturise the skin, and hence this leads to baby soft, supple skin that glows from within. And that's how easy it is to make a chemical peel at home.
