DIY Castor Oil And Aloe Vera Serum To Grow Over Plucked Thin Eyebrows
Nothing is more beautiful in a girl than thick exotically arched eyebrows, adding definition and depth to your eyes. However, the compulsive need to pick the tweezers and pluck out every single strand of overgrown hair, at the first sign, can be damaging.
How damaging, you ask? For the starter, plucking out those tiny hairs from the root, one by one, is like signing up for a pain ride. Over-plucking can lead to eyebrows that are thin, sparse and uneven. And did we mention over-tweezing can permanently damage hair follicles? Follicles are responsible for stimulating hair growth; excessive plucking can permanently damage them, stunting hair growth.

So, unless you are planning to stick to the same style of eyebrows for the rest of your life, our advice is to go easy on those brows. And the worse side effects of all - hyper-pigmentation. Threading or tweezing eyebrows sometimes causes inflammation, which in turn, can cause melanin to deposit in the skin leading to unsightly dark patches.

To avoid all this, a golden rule you need to follow is avoid tweezing more than once a month. And for that overly plucked uneven eyebrows here is a DIY serum of castor oil and aloe vera gel that will work like a charm.
The first ingredient in our serum is castor oil. Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic and omega 9 fatty acid that deeply nourish hair follicles, promoting growth. The second ingredient in our serum, vitamin E gel, whether you apply it topically or consume it, can make your eyebrows grow thicker, stronger and darker.

Vaseline on the other hand is an intensive emollient that moisturizes follicles, soothes cracked skin and promotes hair growth. The last ingredient in the serum, aloe vera gel has anti-bacterial properties that soothe the skin, while stimulating hair growth.
Ingredients Required :-
- ½ Tablespoon of castor oil
- 2 Capsules of vitamin E gel
- 1 Tablespoon of pure aloe vera gel
- 1 Tablespoon of Vaseline

Method Of Preparation And Application :-
Mix castor oil and vitamin E gel in a bowl. Stir in the aloe vera gel and Vaseline and whisk until all the components combine well.
Store it in a tiny vial and leave it at room temperature, until it gets a creamy texture.
Using a cotton swab massage the serum on to your eyebrows, day and night. Wipe off the excess with a wet towel.

You can certainly hide the gaps in your eyebrows with a thick coat of mascara or eye pencil, but they are temporary. With this easy to make serum, you will notice your eyebrows growing thicker and darker within seven days. Do give it a try!
