Most of the famous cosmetic and beauty brands mention the expiry of the product as 6 months as it is believed that the they may be contaminated with bacteria and other harmful substances. Instead of discarding them, look for these simple tips.
Tips On Using Old And Expired Cosmetics Products -
1. Those outdated face moisturizers can be massaged on your dry feet and arms. It is a known fact that the body skin is not as sensitive as the facial skin. The winter care and SPF moisturizer can be used on the shaved legs and hands. The old face lotions protect your legs and arms from the sun tan.
2. The alpha hydroxy acid in face moisturizers can keep your feet, wrinkle free, glowing and youthful.
3. Prefer your old foundation and concealer for your body make up. Conceal those mosquito bites and sweat pimples with these old cosmetics. You can use the old shimmer and blush on the fist, back and toes.
4. Expired cosmetics like facial cleansers and toners can be used as after shave soothers. Use them on arms, waist and legs after shave or even on eyebrows after shaping.
5. Those outdated products like lip balms, eye liners, mascara can be used for temporary face make up for costume parties like Halloween, Thanksgiving etc. Remove the make up completely before going to bed or right after the event.
6. Use the old compact powder on eyebrows while plucking or threading the hairs and then wash it off with soap.
