The Path To True Happiness

As humans, our definition of happiness can be inadequate as much as it varies from individual to individual. Although happiness, as claimed by many, is a temporary state of the mind, it becomes essential to understand the fundamental difference between happiness in its temporary state and happiness in its absolute sense.

Contrary to popular definition, true or absolute happiness goes beyond being a temporary state of the mind. In this article, let us try and delve into the crux of absolute happiness and the path that we are ought to adopt to reach a state of supreme bliss.

This article throws light on the path to true happiness.

The Path To True Happiness

As humans, we have been able to accurately calculate things like the distance between the earth and the sun, the diameter of the sun, the diameter of the earth, the distances between other planets and the earth, so on and so forth. Although such is the case, our understanding of our own mind and the reactions that trigger manifestations of thought, appears to be limited. It sure does seem like the farther the things are from us, the more learned we appear.

With the ferocity of death staring right into our life, we appear to be enveloped by this web of confusion, being dogged by the most fundamental questions of life and death. While the death of a family member can lead to a flurry of thoughts and questions, we soon get absorbed in an ocean of intricate mysteries and convoluted facts.

While a promotion can make you feel elated for a certain period of time, although protracted if it may be, you will soon find yourself wanting when it comes to understanding how various facets of life function.

So how then do we describe absolute happiness? What is the path to true happiness? Does absolute happiness even exist? If it does, is it achievable?

Well, as common as these questions are, there is a solution to this intricate puzzle. The answer lies in bundles of love and impregnable peace.

We have all come from the same universe that gave rise to the sun and the earth. What we must know for a fact is that the consciousness of the earth is greater than our own as individuals. Peace and love are what has brought humans together, something that history can speak elaborately by its own existence.

War and destruction have created unimaginable disparity among humans. The universe exists as a whole, following a particular pattern just like how birth and death are mandatory occurrences. Our purpose as humans is, like the universe, exist as a single entity brimming with love and peace.

Religion, has, in part, evinced that the ultimate purpose of mankind is to achieve this sync with the universal consciousness. How are we to achieve this if we didn't inculcate the characteristics of love. How then will peace be achieved? What then will be the path to true happiness?

At this point, it is only relevant to mention the law of cause and effect, the law that governs the entire universe's functioning. Just like how the death of a star can give birth to several new stars, the birth of a star will inevitably see its death.

Same with life and death of we as humans, for we are all part of the same source. The law of cause and effect is severe and unassailable. Good causes will manifest into good effects and bad causes will beget bad effects. We can choose what we wish to do based on this impregnable principle.

As individuals, if we are able to cultivate these very important characteristics in this defiled age, absolute happiness can be achieved. Taking to meditation and prayer are the most fundamental aspects that we all need to pay heed to.

Even if we were to perish, efforts to breed a healthy planet would never go in vain, simply because we are striving to live by the law that governs the entire universe. The law of unity, the law of cause and effect. This is something we all need to understand in the deepest sense. This is what will eventually lead us to the path of true happiness.
