Awakening Into The Ultimate Reality

Lazarus, the great devotee of Jesus Christ was the brother of Mary Magdalene and Martha. When Lazarus was dead, Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus and waited for His arrival. Jesus arrived after four days when Lazarus was already laid in the tomb. Martha met Jesus on the way and grieved that had Jesus been there, her brother would not have died.
It was then Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."
Jesus accompanied by Mary and Martha went to the tomb of Lazarus. He asked the stone that covered the burial place to be removed. He then said aloud,
“Lazarus, come out!"
Immediately Lazarus came out as if waking up from a deep sleep.Osho says that one is really dead until he is awakened into the reality of life. It is the master's call and guidance which awakens one from ignorance. Osho points out that one lives life as if one is aware of what life really is. It is the master who shakes one out of the delirium of ignorance to awaken into the truth of life.
