Earnestness in pursuit leads one to the goal even if he is unsure of the path, says Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. With the desire to know God coupled by devotion, the path would reveal itself ultimately leading to the divine.

A man set out on a pilgrimage to Puri to worship his beloved Jaganatha despite being unsure of the way. He set out on the opposite direction. However by making earnest enquirers, he reached the destination and worshiped his Jaganatha.

An earnest attitude with devotion takes one to the goal.
