Top 10 Marriage Killers To Beware Of
Marriage killers are like smoking. They keep slow poisoning your marriage and you never realise it till its too late. We all are aware that marriages are breaking up very easily today and divorces never happen without a cause. So many people end their marriage for absolutely frivolous sounding reasons. This happens because they are not able to identify the real marriage killers who are sinking their teeth into their relationship.
There are few genuine causes for divorce like incompatibility, abuse and adultery. The rest of the marriages end due to the onslaught of the marriage killers. You must be thinking that marriage killers are some sort of external forces that become the causes of divorce. You are wrong. The real marriage killers are within you. It is your emotions, your judgements and your words that lead to failed marriages.
Emotions like contempt, ego and suspicion kill a marriage. If you don't want your marriage to die a slow death, then please take a note of the following marriage killers.

Ego
Your ego is the biggest enemy of your marriage. Always remember that marriage is a game where two play and both win. So don't try to win over your partner ever.

Suspicion
Suspicion is a disease that has no cure. If you suspect that your partner is cheating on you then no matter how much evidence you get, you will never be able to convince yourself that he/she is not guilty.

Communication Gap
Often there is too much unsaid between a couple. When silence ways heavy in a relationship, it can lead to huge chasm that cannot be filled. Communicate with your partner or else the communication gap can become a marriage killer.

Time
Time is the most scarce thing in today's world. Both partners are busy and hardly have time to give each other. But you need to give your relationship time. Don't let your work dictate your life or else you may not have anyone to come home to.

Insecurity
If your partner is insecure about his/her looks, weight or job it is your duty to make them feel comfortable. Do not blame your partner for being insecure. Always remember, we all have our insecurities; both big and small.

Criticism
Criticism is the job of those who wield their pens for a living. It is not supposed to be part of a relationship. It is okay to correct your partner. But do not pick on your partner continuously. It is irritating and insulting beyond a point.

Bad Behaviour
Sometimes, its your words that hurt your partner the most. It is alright to get angry but never say things that you don't mean just to hurt your partner. Always remember, words are like arrows, once they leave your mouth they can never be taken back.

Interference From Family
Both your family and your partners will play a role in your marriage. But the sacred bond of marriage is between the two of you. Never allow a third person to speak in between even if it is one of your parents.

Culture Clash
Intercultural marriages are on the rise and so are culture clash divorces. When you marry someone, you have to accept some elements of their culture and vice versa. There is no such thing as partial acceptance. You to either accept your partner completely or not at all.

Frustration
Leave your work pressure and frustration at office. Your partner is a not a punching bag for you to release your frustration on.
