Top 8 Marriage Myths Broken!

Here are some of the marriage myths that should not be cultivated if you want a successful marriage.
Top 8 Marriage Myths To Break:
1. We are married because we are in love.
Wrong. You may have got married because of love but nobody stays married because of love. Only adjustment and patience can save your marriage.
2. We will continue to woo each other all our life.
Ya right and I will be the next President of USA! These kinds of things don't happen. The 'wooing and winning' will last for a year or a couple. Then the routine starts and you better be ready for it.
3. My husband/wife is my best friend.
Not possible. You husband or wife is someone whom you criticize with your best friend. You cannot live under the same roof with your best friend for years together. You can but he or she will cease to be your best friend beyond a point.
4. I never lie to my spouse.
What about the time your mother called her a 'b****'. Did you dare to go and tell her the truth? There will be no end to your marriage problems if you are silly enough to tell every small thing to your partner.
5. My in-laws are like my parents.
Most marriage problems arise because girls expect their in-laws to be like their parents. Your parents are your parents and his parents are his. Do not have any fancy ideas about changing the equations set by nature because you will fail.
6. We will never go to bed angry.
Of course you will. It may come to a situation that you do not talk to each other for days. It is not being suggested that such things are healthy. However they are the reality about married life. Every fight cannot be resolved within the night.
7. We will continue to make love like honeymooners!
Fat chance. Soon love making will become a weekly affair as you both come home tired from work.
8. Having a baby will sort all our difference.
No, it won't. A baby can in fact become the main bone of contention in a marriage. You both may stick around for the sake of a baby all your life but that kind of a marriage is not worth much.
