It seems the social behaviour of the teenagers affect their marital decisions too. Teenagers who are into antisocial behaviour marry earlier than their peers. On the other hand teenagers who are into substance abusing marry at later stage than their peers. The anti-social behaviour, including frequency of running away, arrests, physical fights and behavioural problems in school, may bring the notions into the mind of teenage boys that they are no more accepted in the society. This brings them into marital relationships where they can find a solace. On the other hand, the vast majority of high school girls, which is quite above than the number of boys, tend to view marriage as "extremely important" to them.
