Ingredients
  • Apple (finely chopped) - 1 bowl

    Small cucumber (finely cut) - 1 bowl

    Pomegranate seeds - 1 bowl

    Thick curd - 1 cup

    Kala chana (soaked overnight in water) - 1 cup

    Roasted peanuts (dehusked and broken) - 3 tbsp

    Salt to taste

    Chaat masala - 1½ tsp

    Crushed black pepper - to taste

    Honey - 2 tbsp

    Cherry - for garnishing

    Mint leaves (chopped) - for garnishing

    Water - 3 cups

How to Prepare
  • 1. Pressure cook the soaked kala chana for up to 8-10 whistles and allow the pressure to settle.

    2. Once done, add the black chana in a bowl.

    3. Add cucumber and apple into the same bowl.

    4. Add pomegranate seeds and mix well.

    5. Add thick curd and mix well.

    6. Add salt and chaat masala.

    7. Then, add the crushed black pepper and honey.

    8. Mix thoroughly.

    9. Add the roasted peanuts just before serving.

    10. Garnish it with mint leaves and cherry.
