Ingredients
  • Green chillies (baji mirchi) - 250 g

    Mustard seeds - 2½ tbsp

    Saunf powder (fennel seed powder) - 1½ tbsp

    Dhaniya powder (coriander powder) - 1½ tbsp

    Amchur powder - 2 tbsp

    Turmeric powder - ½ tbsp

    Salt - 2 tbsp

    Mustard oil - 1 cup

How to Prepare
  • 1. Slit the green chillies in the centre and keep them aside.

    2. Add mustard seeds into a mixer jar and powder it.

    3. Take the powdered mustard seeds in a bowl.

    4. Add saunf powder and dhaniya powder.

    5. Then, add amchur powder and turmeric powder.

    6. Add salt.

    7. Mix thoroughly.

    8. Then, add mustard oil and mix well again.

    9. Take a spoonful of the mixture and fill it in the slit part of the mirchi.

    10. Allow it to soak for an hour and serve.

  • 1. The mirch ka achaar can be preserved for 2-3 weeks if it is stored in an air-tight jar.
  • 2. If it is stored in the refrigerator, it can be preserved for a month.
