Ingredients
  • Potato (peeled and diced) – 500 g

  • Oil – for frying
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Kashmiri chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Dry mango powder (amchur) – ½ tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder (jeera powder) – ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala – ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind chutney – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander mint chutney – ½ tbsp
  • Sev – 1 small bowl
  • Coriander (finely chopped) – for garnishing
  • Pomegranate – for garnishing

How to Prepare
  • 1. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the diced potatoes.

  • 2. Remove them, once they turn golden brown.
  • 3. Add salt and chilli powder.
  • 4. Then, add dry mango powder, roasted cumin powder and chaat masala.
  • 5. Further, add the lemon juice and mix well.
  • 6. Add the tamarind chutney and the coriander-mint chutney and mix thoroughly.
  • 7. Sprinkle sev, coriander and pomegranate seeds on top as a garnish.
  • 8. Finally, add a few dollops of both the chutneys on top, to make the chaat look more colourful.

STEP BY STEP - HOW TO MAKE ALOO CHAAT
