Causes Of Low Libido During Pregnancy
You might have heard stories of how your friends were horny all the time when they were pregnant. But as far as you are concerned, you just can't get wet with the bun in the oven! And you might be worrying yourself sick that having low libido during pregnancy is a problem that is unique only to you. Do not fret because having low sex drive during pregnancy is a condition that many women face.
Lack of intimacy during pregnancy can have an impact on your relationship with your partner. That is why; it is important to keep the fire of your sex drive burning even when you are carrying. You must be aware that half of your sex drive is psychological. And that is the root cause of having low libido during pregnancy. You are way too anxious about the baby to enjoy sex.
Here are some plausible reasons why you might have low sex drive during pregnancy.

Hormonal Ups and Downs
You will have sudden surges of being in and out of mood for intimacy. In some women, pregnancy hormones increase sex drive. In others, it might completely obliterate their libido. It is best to listen to your own body and not compare your sex drive with any other pregnant woman's appetite for intimacy.
Anxiety About Baby
Most expectant mothers and some fathers as well are very anxious about the baby's safety while having sex. They do not want the baby to be hurt because they are indulging in lovemaking. This constant anxiety itself takes away a lot of your sex drive.
Dryness During Pregnancy
The dryness that you find yourself experiencing during sex is because you are not turned on. Most women are anxious about their appearance during pregnancy and as they do not find themselves sexy, they cannot get turned on. When you are not wet, intimacy hurts and that further ruins your libido.
